Low emissions systems
ECS low emissions systems can be installed by one of our qualified emissions specialists, or you can install it yourself if you are knowledgeable about vehicles. This system reduces emissions by introducing a small amount of hydrogen gas into the air intake. It’s a straightforward and safe system. The kit comes with easy-to-follow instructions, but if you’re not confident in installing it yourself, we recommend having one of our emissions specialists do it for you, as safety is our top priority.
Fitment to vehicle
This kit will fit most petrol or diesel car or light van upto 3.5t. Some vehicle installed with smart charging alternators will require a different kit. Furthermore vehicles larger than this will require a different kit which also do. So feel free to get in touch to see and we will be happy to give you more information about the best product for you. The ECS low emissions kits are available for any internal combustion engine either petrol or diesel including cars, vans, pickup trucks, HGV’s, Buses, Agricultural machinery, Construction and quarry equipment, large engined containerised generators plus large commercial shipping. We can provide a solution to lower emissions (before and after testing available), lower carbon build up inside the engine and also improve fuel economy.
How will this lower emissions ?
Over the past three decades, ECS has demonstrated the effectiveness of our low emissions car kit and other kits for larger vehicles. We conduct emissions testing both before and after installation to validate this method’s success. The key is to achieve more efficient fossil fuel combustion, which reduces carbon buildup in any internal combustion engine—the primary cause of many costly component failures. Additionally, as a byproduct of efficient combustion, we achieve improved fuel burn efficiency.
